Hot Crossed Buns

It stood out clear as day on the creek bed below our house. From where I was standing, I could see it from 100 yards down stream. A grayish rock with bright white calcite veins running through it giving the appearance of a hot crossed bun. I could not wait to see what a set of coasters would look like from this slightly larger-than-a-softball-sized rock.
